Everything below is what CrateOrganizer Pro adds on top of the free sync. The free version stays free forever.
What is the difference between the free version and CrateOrganizer Pro?
The free version syncs your folders to Serato crates and keeps them matching, with no time limit. CrateOrganizer Pro adds the cleanup side: the duplicate finder, missing-track removal, playlist import and export, folder links, smart crates that refill themselves, and export to Rekordbox or Traktor. If all you want is crates that mirror your folders, you never need to pay.
Will CrateOrganizer Pro change my audio files?
Only if you ask it to. The duplicate finder deletes only the copies you tick, and missing-track cleanup removes entries from your Serato library rather than audio. Every change is previewed before it is written and every write is backed up first, so you can put your library back the way it was.
Are updates included in CrateOrganizer Pro?
Yes. The licence is a one-off payment and updates are included, so new releases cost you nothing extra.
What is a smart crate?
A search you saved. Pick a BPM range, a key or a genre, name it, and it becomes a crate that refills itself. Press Update all after adding music and every one of them catches up.
Will exporting change my Rekordbox or Traktor library?
No. You get a file to import in that program. Nothing is written into another program’s collection, and no audio is moved or copied.
Is this a subscription?
No. One payment, and the licence does not expire.
How many computers can I use it on?
One at a time. You can release it from a computer inside the app and use the key somewhere else.
What if I lose my key?
Your key is shown on screen when you pay and emailed to you as well. Lost both? Type the address you paid with and it will be sent again. It only ever goes to that address, so nobody can use this to ask for someone else’s key.
Do I need internet to use Pro?
Only occasionally. The app checks in now and then and keeps working offline for weeks between checks, so a gig with no signal is not a problem.
Does it work with the newest Serato?
Yes. It handles all three of the ways Serato has stored libraries, and refuses to write to a version it has not been verified against.
Is Pro really a one-off payment?
Yes. You pay once and the licence does not expire. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and no card is kept on file for a later charge.
What happens if I get a new computer?
Deactivate the old one in the app and activate the new one with the same key. If the old machine is gone or broken and you cannot deactivate it, contact us and we will free up the slot.
Do I need to be online?
Only occasionally. Pro checks in with the licence server to confirm it is still valid, and then keeps working for weeks without a connection. A network failure never downgrades you; only the server explicitly saying a key is dead will do that.
What if it does not do what I need?
You have 7 days. If Pro is not what you expected, email us within a week of buying and we will refund it in full, no argument. Before that, try the free features on your own library for as long as you like: they will tell you whether the app understands how your music is organised before you spend anything.
Do you store my card details?
